Travelling Around Australia – The Big Lap

Planning Your Big Trip Around Australia?

Steve, Jen, Savanna & Sara left their home and headed off in search of adventure, fulfilling their dream of doing ‘The Big Lap’ of Australia. Driving a Land Cruiser with an off road camper trailer and with tiny kids, one still in nappies (diapers) they embarked on a dream that had been brewing for years.

16 Months & 46,600 km’s of Adventure…

The DVD Series is not a ‘rufty tufty’ he-man type movie of daring escapades and outrageous 4WD stunts at every bend. It’s a genuine family adventure that should appeal to anyone planning or dreaming of doing their own big lap of Oz. Or even if there is no desire to actually do the trip – a journey with the Baile family from the comfort of your home is quite ok.

It is a thoroughly enjoyable series showing how things can so easily go wrong when travelling on outback roads and even closer to home. With plenty of off-road and remote driving, this series takes viewers to all the extremes of Australia and through every state. A lot of humour is brought into everyday life on the road and the way Steve and Jen deal with the trials, as well as the excitement, is fun to watch.

Tips for tyre pressures in certain circumstances and driving in remote regions plus practical advice on packing for such a big trip as well as getting a vehicle as prepared as possible may prove invaluable to planning your own adventure.

Steve, Jen, Savanna & Sara now have another addition to their little tribe of travellers – Sienna. They are currently making another movie of their latest adventure into the South Australian Outback…

The Big Lap DVD Series would make an ideal gift for friends, family or just for yourself.
