Enchanted Gardens, Mazes & Tree Surfing
Such an unexpected surprise! Well, not quite. We could see from the website that there would be lots to do here but did not quite expect the gardens would be so beautifully landscaped and the whole ‘wonderland’ fit together so well.
The kids have experienced the Trees Adventure Park in the Dandenong Ranges and were keen to tackle this great course as well.

It is clear a lot of love and attention to detail as well as humour has been invested into this awesome Adventure Park.
Intricately trimmed hedges greet visitors along with very friendly staff and swift entry. It is a popular place, for good reason. Along with a load of varied mazes, tube sliding and gardens to see, they have Tree Surfing and zip lining too.
Tree surfing involves climbing, crossing rope bridges, short zip-lining from one platform to another and a whole lot of fun for all ages. The main zip line crosses over the park and ornamental lake with another return line, a bit shorter, but fun all the same (different activities, check prices and details on the website).
We finished the visit at the 3d and mirror mazes, particularly enjoying the 3d maze!
Visitors are most welcome to bring their own picnics, tables are available to use throughout the park or there is a fabulous cafe with reasonably priced and varied eating options. I was impressed somewhat with the Enchanted Gardens water bottles being sold for very little more than a regular one – with the bonus that they are great to re-use for school etc. A no-smoking policy within the park was greatly appreciated too.
Check the different pricing options as entry to the park is included if you book the tree surfing adventure. It is advised to book the Tree surfing online to be sure of getting a spot!
Located near Arthur’s Seat on the Mornington Peninsula, the enchanted Gardens Park is a great day out!
Getting there – by car or bus
The drive up onto Authur’s Seat is an experience in itself… allow plenty of time to stop at the view points.
