Glamping in the Dandenongs, Victoria
Bessie is our 1959 vintage caravan, made by the Roma company in Melbourne. Sitting in our garden overlooking the pony paddocks, Bessie is available for up to three people to stay in and enjoy the gardens, rainforest walk down by our creek and explore all the walks in the Dandenongs as well as great cafes and shops.
She is a sweet little caravan, constructed out of bond wood, with a double and king single bed, the sleeping space is cozy and comfortable. There is a full ensuite, immediately beside the caravan. The caravan and ensuite both have heating.
- Double Bed – Not quite as wide as a standard double, but as long as a queen bed at 203cm. With a super comfy mattress, it is ideal for one but can also fit two guests.
- King Single – Exactly the same size as a regular king single and 203 cm in length. Comfy and ideal for one, though two kids could possibly share the bed.
- Linen and doonas/duvets supplied as well as pillows and towels.

The little kitchen area inside the caravan is set up with a sink, microwave, toaster, kettle and sandwich maker. Cups, plates, bowls, and cutlery all supplied.
Tea, Coffee & Hot Chocolate all provided as well as milk.
An AeroPress Coffee Maker is provided too, it makes a fantastic brew. BYO ground coffee or use ours. There is also some instant coffee if preferred.
Outside we have a small camp kitchen set up with a camp stove for any extra cooking.
The outside area has seats under the awning and a table, hanging chairs and hammock – ideal for a lazy day relaxing and listening to the birds.
Guests have access to our garden and rainforest walk, one of the best private gardens in the Dandenongs. Loads of walks can be accessed from our front gate.
